The discussion on Wednesday May 7 session dwelt on the term Gur Prasad. Not surprisingly, the various nuances of Guru in Gurbani became the focus. It was agreed that the concept of Guru - along with Naam, Sabad(Shabad), Hukam - were foundational and interrelated. Any understanding of Sikh teachings must rest on a clear grasp of what these terms mean. With that in mind, it was recommended that the May 10 session be devoted to examining the concept of Guru and Shabad. Some highlights of the May 7 discussion:
